Margaret Lastick

Margo opened LeRoyale Icing in 1985 as a cottage industry. In 1993, the business blossomed and the studio opened in Oak Park, a suburb of Chicago.

The illustrious reputation of LeRoyale Icing evolved from a passion for fine art and gourmet cuisine. Le Royale Icing pioneered an unprecedented standard for cakes as art sculpture in Chicago and throughout the United States. For more than 20 years Le Royale Icing’s founder, Margo Lastick, has received acclaim as a supreme maestro of cake decorating, from numerous food critics and art critics throughout the world.

Beginning in 2010, Margo has transitioned her approach toward her real passion of cake design, and is now focusing her work on creating Cake Ornamental Sculptures. These custom sculptures are suited for exclusive luxury special events and exquisite culinary tastes.
